Cross Platform Promo
The motif behind the cross-platform promo and thumbnails was to add a sense of magic that only watching and listening to live music brings.
Adding the sparkly particle overlay along with parallaxing the foreground and background was enough to give the trail a sense of that magic of live music as well as subtle adding depth.

Lower Third
Simple Aston design using BBC Reith and a textbox added for accessibility. I felt that Title case was more appropriate for this strand as upper case can feel clamorous.

As the programme features exclusive interviews with Country Music All-Stars Luke Combs and Carly Peace who also headlined the London Oprey, it only felt appropriate to include them as our hero images in the poster.
When conceptualising the poster, it was clear that there has already been a previously established aesthetic for country music documentaries and cultivated music programmes.
I aimed to mimic that somewhat with the posters so the audience will sub-consciously understand what the programme will entail. I reflected the warm colour tones that these programmes usually depict as well as focusing more on the lighting and colour grading of our subjects.
As The Grand Ol’ Oprey is vintage americana music event which the programme also explores, it was nice to pay homage to the old times by including a shot of a very 1950’s crowd at the XXX and blending the background to what it has become with a shot of the Royal Albert Hall.
Notable inspirations for the poster include Iron Maiden: Flight 666, Whitney Housten: A Concert for A New South Africa and Miss Americana: A Tribute to Taylor Swift. Each invoke that sense of magic of live music using lighting, light leaks and adding a touch of sparkle to the design to help capture attention on a streaming rail.
